This is the story of studying Mars on Earth at Devon Island, the largest uninhabited island in the world located 500 kilometres southwest of the Magnetic North Pole. Devon Island is an analogue to Mars which has made it extremely interesting to NASA. Mars on Earth follows the largest scientific mission on Earth known as the NASA/Haughton-Mars Project.
