Off The Vine - Tapestry Wines (2002)

Formerly known as Merrivale, the winery was renamed Tapestry when the Clipsal Group, under the charter of Robert Gerard, bought it in 1997. This marked the beginning of significant developments, aimed at creating a premier boutique winery in the region.Originally farmed by early settlers, the Tapestry vineyards are divided into two separate areas. Twenty acres surround the winery cellar door and 80 acres are at Bakers Gully, an elevated sub region of the McLaren Valley. The winery only produces super premium strict varietal table wines and not blended varietals.
